A brand new book has just been released on the famous linux distribution IPCop. It explains how to install, configure and manage a linux firewall based on IPCop for many uses like firewall, web proxy, dhcp server, DNS server, VPN server and all funtions that IPCop can take care of.
This book which is 154 pages long has been written by two american security consultants named Barrie Dempster and James Eaton-Lee. It is available for download in PDF format (27USD) of as a paper book (36USD).
Sober worm, one of the most spreaded virus on the Internet during this year, now disguises itself as coming from CIA or FBI. It informs the recipient that his IP address was logged while he was surfing on illegal websites.
